O Always maintain awareness of the present moment. What do you do? What are you eating? How are you feeling? These are a few of the questions that you should be asking yourself when you’re living in the here and now. Controlling your thoughts and becoming conscious of the present moment will enable you to forego all your baggage of prior decisions and thought patterns and reside in the present moment with complete energy and vigor.

O Never get frustrated if things don’t go the way you intended them to be. If you want to grow, it’s important to understand that there could just be bumps along the road that has to be negotiated. So instead of getting stressed out over things, take time to be grateful that you even have all these ideas, that you’re alive, that you’re changing and growing – and most importantly, that you’re going places!

O Be a positive thinker. If you want to give up any negative or burdening thoughts, then it would be a great idea to begin changing your thinking patterns towards positive ones. When you can associate these thoughts with joy and well-being, then you’ll become more prone to experience that happiness in your life. O Learn to breathe deeply and slowly. Breathing slowly and deeply, is a great way to let go of unwanted and dangerous thoughts. In our hectic lives, we often rush through things or say things that do not make us feel good.
